The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado, in association with local agencies, is excited to announce that we will be bringing The S Word to Colorado screens for Suicide Prevention Month in September.
The S Word is a documentary film that tackles one of the most unfathomable issues of our time: suicide. This documentary opens the conversation to reduce the shame and silence.
Sally Spencer-Thomas said that this documentary is one of the most powerful, inspiring and well-crafted movies on suicide that she has ever seen.
The documentary will be screened with producer Lisa Klein present, who will introduce the film and answer questions from the audience at the end.
Locations and times for showings will be posted on our website as they are confirmed.
